Saint Patrick's Day Parade 2015

This year Sedona's business and local community came out en mass to celebrate Sedona's 45th Saint Patrick's Parade!  It was a lovely day in the 60's but in the sun it felt like 70's.  Many people came early to Jorden Road to get prime areas to put the chairs down and after the parade started at 10:30 it was standing room only!  Enjoy the photos and hope to see you there next year!

Congratulations to the City of Sedona for being awarded the Dark-Sky Designation!  The Dark Sky designation is given by the International Dark Sky Association for "exceptional dedication to the preservation of the night sky through the implementation and enforcement of quality lighting codes, dark sky education, and citizen support of dark skies".

Sedona is the 6th Dark Sky Community in the USA and 8th in the entire world!

Debb Carl and Airen Sapp aka DEBnAIR at RE/MAX Sedona have both lived in Sedona since 1988.  Airen was business partners with Peggy Lanning in the Lanning Gallery for 4 years.  She helped form the first Sedona Gallery Association and the Artist Invitational at the Sedona Art Festival.  Debb worked as the general manager for Time Expeditions Jeep Tours and many other jobs touting Sedona's beauty.

Debb and Airen discovered that they were very good at collaboration by designing and fabricating metal sculpture, firescreens, sumi-e paintings and a fictional novel the self published.  That is where they first coined the name DEBnAIR.
